Magdrive is a pioneering spacetech startup based in Harwell, Oxfordshire, developing next-generation propulsion systems for satellites and future deep space missions. With backing from the UK Space Agency, the company is tackling the challenge of sustainable in-orbit mobility with its innovative solid metal thruster technology. Magdrive needed a PR strategy to create a buzz around their latest seed funding round and spotlight their innovative activity in the sector.

Magdrive is a UK-based spacetech startup driving innovation and sustainability through the development of next-generation propulsion systems for satellites and future deep space missions. With the announcement of their latest seed funding round, CRC were brought onboard to help amplify these announcements and generate noise around new partnerships and their upcoming in-space test of its Rogue Thruster.
Campaign
We created a strategy that focused on one core message, which was Magdrive’s unique approach to propulsion and its potential to transform satellite manoeuvrability. Crafting press releases with this strong hook, we managed to secure high-profile interviews spotlighting Magdrive’s unique approach and in turn positioning them as innovators in the spacetech sector.
