infinitSpace

infinitSpace: Targeted research to drive positioning as a sector leader

infinitSpace creates and manages flexible workspaces on behalf of commercial landlords, and City Road Comms has been with them since the start, as the business has gone from strength to strength. Since its launch in 2021 to the latest announcement of its ninth workspace location across three countries and two continents, we’ve collaborated with the company on dozens of compelling PR campaigns.

"City Road Comms has been with infinitSpace since our launch. In that time, not just our business but our brand has grown exponentially – in no small part thanks to our work with CRC. They have ensured significant media coverage when we open a new workspace or form a new partnerships; they have got our research and opinion articles published in the press; and they have helped create content for own marketing platforms, including blogs and social media. The result is that infinitSpace is consistently put in front of the right people and our brand has become well established in the world of flexible workspaces." – Maria Bichl, Head of Marketing, Europe, InfinitSpace

Assignment

infinitSpace creates and manages flexible workspaces on behalf of commercial landlords, and City Road Comms has been with them since the start, as the business has gone from strength to strength. Since its launch in 2021 to the latest announcement of its ninth workspace location across three countries and two continents, we’ve collaborated with the company on dozens of compelling PR campaigns.

infinitSpace has always been a leading voice on issues affecting the sector. The commercial real estate market has faced significant challenges in recent years, not least when it comes to offices, which have seen low occupancy rates (as a result of remote working) combine with greater financial pressures (due to high interest rates and inflation).

Campaign

To further boost infinitSpace’s profile in front of prospective clients and solidify their position as an industry thought leader, we were keen to create a PR campaign that would cut to the heart of the difficult market conditions that office landlords were fighting against. The campaign also needed to promote the importance of engaging with third-party operators to convert empty offices into flexible workspaces, pushing this as an effective strategy to combat these challenges.

We decided that commissioning a quantitative research survey was the best approach to successfully achieve this. The survey polled 250 UK office landlords on their financial positions, the performance of their portfolios, as well as their attitude towards converting their existing private office space into flexible workspaces.

Key insights from the data were then released to the trade media through press releases and thought leadership articles over several months, and also used in social media and blog content.

COVERAGE

Over the course of the campaign, a total of 36 pieces of coverage were secured, including high-profile coverage in the likes of Property Week, EG, and Property Wire, as well as several other property trade press titles.

The only way is up as infinitSpace continues its global takeover of the workspace market, and we can’t wait to see what exciting campaigns we’ll collaborate on as it opens its 10th, 50th and 100th workspaces in the future!
